Consumer is King

We live in an age where the service industry has progressed in leaps and bounds. Whether it is retail in food, electronic items or automobiles or banking all the sectors can run efficiently only if the consumer is satisfied. However, it is often seen that the service sector does take undue advantage of the consumer at times. Either by false advertising or spreading incorrect information, the service sector has often fooled the consumer. For example, a food outlet may guarantee that their food items are fresh. But it has turned out that consumers fall sick after consuming this food. Similarly, many of us may have been handed over a poorly functioning device when we are told it is the latest model. In all such incidents, the consumer suffers. This is because the value and need of the product is wasted and so is a lot of money. The consumer feels cheated and usually left with no recourse to follow.
However, this can change. The Consumer Forum is an ideal place to lodge any complaints that you might have. This is the platform where concerns are addressed and discussed. The great thing is that the matter does not end at discussion alone. These complaints are followed up and heard in consumer court, where justice prevails.
